Okay, okay...that's the best title I could come up with since these came from fuzzyb aka Brian . Thanks Brian! He sent these to me quite awhile ago in a box full of a ton of different materials. I finally quit jumping the queue and got these done! LOL Old stock Gary Green Exotica aka Sci-Fi Jasper Exotica aka Sci-Fi Jasper Soldier Canyon Snakeskin Jasper (same cab - I can't decide which orientation I like better...)

Nice material and cabs, Jason. I like the second orientation of the Soldier Canyon Snakeskin Jasper better, but either way looks good. It's such a nice looking stone, i like the color, the pattern and the shine! Great job on all of them!

The more I looked at the picture, I really think that one does look better.

Nice! I like the second orientation on the Snakeskin jasper. My favorite stone out of the bunch is the Gary Green, though. Love that stuff.

I vote for #2 on the Snakeskin. Thanks Beth! Yeah...I'm with ya on the second orientation. Cool cabs. I hate to be agreeable but do prefer #2. Thanks Tim! I do think whoever thinks the first orientation is going to be the "odd person" out! LOL Nice! I like the second orientation on the Snakeskin jasper. My favorite stone out of the bunch is the Gary Green, though. Love that stuff. Thanks Robin! I may or may not have a couple chunks of Gary Green here pretty soon. I'm pretty sure my sister picked some up...but she knows less about rocks than I do, so it could be something like Barry Blue or Randy Red...we'll find out! LOL

You did a great job with those, Jason! I honestly can’t pick a favorite among them although I will always be partial to the greens.
I will have to show these to my daughter. I believe she made the final choices on the rocks we sent, and I bet she will be surprised at how nice they turned out.

It's been so long since you guys have sent them, she might not even remember! - Please thank her for having an amazing eye for potential in rocks...because I love how each one of these turned out.

Those cabs look nice jasoninsd! I've got a nice teardrop shape cut out for this month's cab contest. They are some of the best/my favorite shapes.

Those cabs look nice jasoninsd! I've got a nice teardrop shape cut out for this month's cab contest. They are some of the best/my favorite shapes. Thanks Perk! Coincidence...I was just working on some cabs for this month's contest a few minutes ago. That's right. I said "cabs"...plural! Petrified Wood and I don't get along cabbing...so I need backups for my backups! LOL Thanks Tela! Those Exotica pieces really do look nice! I love the tones in that material! Thanks Brian! I don't get along with clear agates whatsoever! I've "kind of" got a backup if things go sideways. I hand-slabbed some self collected opalized wood that is stunning and is gonna make beautiful cabs.

Love me some Gary Green/Freedom Jasper. As far as voting the snake skin definitely catches the eye and new to me.

It sounds to me like that opalized piece should go to the front of the line! LOL Love me some Gary Green/Freedom Jasper. As far as voting the snake skin definitely catches the eye and new to me. Thank you so much! I know Brian got the pieces in the big slab auction quite some time ago. So, I know the piece came from a member. I can't remember who exactly it originated from, but it was stuck in my head that it was from someone who would have had "old stock" Gary Green. The material I "might" have heading my way from my sister one of these days is definitely the new "Freedom Jasper". The Soldier Canyon Snakeskin Jasper was new to me too. Googling it didn't bring up any material that looks quite like this. It had a piece of tape on the slab with the name on it...

Great cabs! That Gary Green takes the cake for me, always love the colors in that stuff! Thank you so much! This is only the second Gary Green piece I've worked (or that I remember! LOL). The first one I couldn't get to take a polish...but that was back in my "Dremel" days...and it was within the first ten cabs I made...again, if I remember correctly! LOL
