I picked up a never used Raytech 6 inch saw on friday, and didn't get around to posting pictures. Here is is: IMG_20220325_195335691 by Perkins17, on Flickr IMG_20220325_195326176 by Perkins17, on Flickr IMG_20220325_195420708 by Perkins17, on Flickr IMG_20220325_195432023 by Perkins17, on Flickr That's the saw... any tips on how far to mount the motor from it? I'm also looking for tips on the motor rewire. Mine didn't come with a wiring diagram, so I need some help there. It's a 1/3 horsepower, 1725 rpm, Emerson electric motor. Thank you for everyone in my prior thread who helped me make the decision to get the saw. IMG_20220325_195452015 by Perkins17, on Flickr Any idea what these are? They came with the saw, and I was told they are motor mounts, but I don't know. Finally, some goodies I picked up at the big show on Fri. Sat. Sun. Good to see photos of your saw. I found a photo showing one on the original base plate with all the accessories. Here's the link:
You can set the motor back as far as you want, but looks like the factory location was just an inch or two behind the back edge of the table.

Thank you for sharing the link. It's good that I don't need to pick up a bigger baseboard! That's really helpful. I appreciate it.

A real nice purchase Perkins. I like that you got some goodies to feed it too.
