Very nice, jasoninsd! I can't remember ever seeing breccia in Fairburns, but I have seen translucent banding... Good luck today, you should have decent temps. And don't forget pictures! 😁

Jason, these are all gorgeous stones! I absolutely love the brecciated one (especially with the fried egg in the center) and the albino ones are totally amazing! What makes them so special is how distinct the individual bands in the fortifications are as well the the little orbs. And of course, the druzy doesn't hurt, either.

And don't forget pictures! 😁 Thanks my friend! We went out to Railroad Buttes. I didn't find anything, but my wife found a nice one. I'm going to post pictures in your Fairburn Thread. Yeah...that brecciated one was super cool to see as it ground down. It's the end cut, so I had no idea what was coming out of it. The shape is a freeform...and so is the "shield" shaped one. No template on that one as it was the end cut as well. It came out nearly symmetric, so I was stoked about that.

jasoninsd Nice as usual! Really like the white one with the druzy. Really cool close up pictures. Thanks Ashley! Since they're all Fairburns, I like each and every one of them...but the pieces with the white fortifications really are amongst my favorites! I love taking "macro" shots of these and Teepee Canyon Agates. It's SO amazing to me how much intricate detail there is in a lot of these!

Thanks Patty! I kept smiling yesterday every time I thought about her finding that one. I was SO super stoked she was the one who found it!

Really nice work on those beautiful stones. Thank you so much Thomas! I've got two more that are on dop...one that is the "reverse" of the last one pictured. I'm excited to see how that one turns out...and curious to see if that one pops off dop three times like the last one pictured did! LOL BTW - I thought I read on here - somehwere - at some point - you have a business. Your avatar looks like a brick and mortar type business. If you have a website, it's okay to put a link in your signature...couldn't hurt...unless you sell items geared toward perpetuating petraphobia! LOL

Petraphobia or petrophobia (from Greek petros, meaning "rock", "stone") is the fear of rocks.
This phobia is often caused by negative experiences involving rocks back in the childhood,
like getting hit by a rock. Sufferers would stay away from rocks, boulders, and even pebbles.

I do believe in the past I occasionally may have experienced a touch of some form of Petraphobia when down in some deep stone pits. However, I do seem to recover quickly once blue sky is back over my head.

What you are turning out from the stones makes all efforts, even the mild cases of Petraphobia, more than worth it... great work on your stones.

I do believe in the past I occasionally may have experienced a touch of some form of Petraphobia when down in some deep stone pits... maybe my number might be rolled next... or perhaps the persistent thoughts of 'I am a fool being this far down in this hole' may count as a symptom... However, I do seem to recover quickly once blue sky is back over my head. You have nerves of steel my friend...nerves...of...steel! What you are turning out from the stones makes all efforts, even the mild cases of Petraphobia, more than worth it... great work on your stones. Thank you SO much for that!

Beautiful! I especially like the second one. Peace, Rich Thanks Rich! To me, that second one looks almost surreal due to the breccia.

Beautiful, both overall and details! Adrian Thank you so much Adrian! This morning I was working on the last two that I have dopped...one chipped off the edge...and the other came off dop! Two other cabs came off dop this morning as well...which meant I knew it was time to call it quits for the time being! LOL
