James, my bark is much worse than my bite. But I'll let Jason sweat for a bit longer. Actually James, you need a bit of a dust up yourself, calling me a tight ass. I prefer to think of myself as a penny pincher. If someone could just restrain himself from wanting to buy things he just doesn't need, it would make my job so much easier. As for meteorites, it's funny to think we've been here for so long, we don't even have to tell jokes anymore? We can just give the punchline! Yes, the meteorite epicenter(I mean episode)was a definite mile marker. I just happened to catch you after your Geritol had taken effect. You obviously got caught by jasoninsd early before the Geritol was consumed. I think Jason is ROFL after he burned you so good. I think I can hear Jason bragging about his victory. He has now become my hero ! GO JASON ! GO JASON ! GO JASON ! She's all your Jason !(No worries, by now she is all bark and no bite)

Dang, I figured rockpickerforever would be biting back. She could be inflicting the deadly silent treatment. Leaving the mind to its own destructive devices.

I once got in trouble teasing a big Idaho fellow's accent. He didn't take to well to it. Hell's bells, he sure could have teased me about my stretched out accent. I'd a laughed. I apologize if I offended anyone, it's just my southern nature.

I apologize if I offended anyone, it's just my southern nature. What the hell does an Idaho accent sound like?? Well, me being a certified smartass didn't help this particular situation Chad. He was a serviceman that flew in to fix one of our automated textile winders in one of the departments. He came up and joined a dozen of us at break in the breakroom. I politely asked where he was from. When he answered Iya-doe-hoe with a strong movement of his facial muscles and as if he were swallowing a tennis ball it cracked me up internally and sent me into an admitted and intentional malicious smart ass mood. When I asked him in a mimicking fashion "where is... Iya-doe-hoe"(with the facial movements) I thought he was going to jump over the table and perform abuse on my body. Can't blame him one bit. I deserved such treatment. And it was 30 years ago, a younger man. If it is any consolation I am missing two front teeth due to that attitude being practised on several occasions

Sorry, James. You'll have to wait a little longer. Haven't got home from my Dad's yet. At a T-Mobile store trying to make sure they didn't take me off the plan I have. It's looking right now that they changed my plan.
Will let you know what happens..

jamesp. I was at my brother’s wedding reception, and asked a friend of my brother where he was from. “Paradise” was the answer. It was very hard to quit laughing. Paradise is a small town about 135 miles from the wedding. Lucky I didn’t get slugged!!

I swear I remember a post from a VERY long time ago where Jean said she controlled the finances for the household. Is this a case where Jean's a tight-ass and the old "it takes one to know one" applies to the frog anatomy? ( rockpickerforever - Jean, I just know I'm just poking the bear by picking on you...and I'm going to end up at some point saying, "Well...I had that coming!" LOL) Yes, you do, Jason. Just not right now. It's still O'dark thirty here on the left coast. Will catch up with you later on that count. Notice how I poked the bear, then ran away for the day? That's called the "will to survive"! LOL I had to go install three windows in my folks house for the day...I hope you were able to get the T-mobile crap straightened out. I don't think any of the cell-carriers are all that reliable...or trustworthy! Jason is now living in fear. Just don't call a meteor a meteorite ! I've lived in "fear" of retribution most of my life...so it's just another day for me! LOL One of my favorite things in life is an "inside joke"!! I was sweatin' all day workin' on my folks house...probably not exactly what you meant there! LOL I believe that was the same basic thing you said last time! LOL - It totally sounds like what my mother is constantly saying about my father! LOL James, my bark is much worse than my bite. But I'll let Jason sweat for a bit longer. Fun fact that Jean might like...I was kinda chuckling about what I had said...and promptly hit my thumb with a hammer. Damn Karma! LOL I once got in trouble teasing a big Idaho fellow's accent. He didn't take to well to it. Hell's bells, he sure could have teased me about my stretched out accent. I'd a laughed. I apologize if I offended anyone, it's just my southern nature. I love hearing other people's accents. I truly feel I have NO accent whatsoever. I think those of us in the mid-west are the most "boring" sounding group of people there is! LOL

Sounds like all of us have had our own dose of karma from time to time. I sure hope your thumb heals well jasoninsd. Sorry to hear you had a lapse in focus. The thumb is the most used part of the human body. Hopefully you got your folks work done so that thumb can have a break. I've heard of Paradise Ca. Pat from somewhere, perhaps in the news. You'd think folks from Paradise would get that reaction often. Sometimes we just can't help ourselves lol. Perhaps Jean rockpickerforever will forget to retaliate NOT. She has a memory like an elephant. Before meteorites existed ! That I know. Nothing like Mermaid skin to get folks riled up ! Frog DNA... A frog got his DNA test back. He's part Scottish, part Irish and a tad Pole.

He showed me an X-ray of his left hand. His fingertips were NOT pretty. Glad you liked my corny joke. It came from "10 frog jokes" off the internet. About half of them were censored for language. You mentioned your parents live on a farm. I hope you have access to rock hunter's paradise.

I worried that I took it too far. I should have known better. I must maintain my suthern angelic gentlemanly reputation yet make it be known I am your jellybean It is apparent you are storing energy for a comeback. It's not fair to compare, Jason will learn that when he throws one at you you retaliate double.(the true depths of depravity lol) He will get your number soon enough(if he has not already) and trust me he I assume he can probably play a very good game of hardball. He will figure out he has a seriously game lady to deal with. Maybe it takes two to handle Jean ?

It takes a real huckleberry to handle Jean when she is hitting on all 8 cylinders jasoninsd ! Be warned she has a permanent memory and can strike any time. Looks like Jean has some issues to deal with. I sure hope you get your Daddy's situation stabilized rockpickerforever. My wife gets on my case about aim too, I just tell her I have long legs and a short digit and a big splash. Picking at the wife is a fine pastime. Can be a bit like poking several bears at one time. You are so fortunate to have fine rock collecting land near by and you parents so close in such beautiful country. All I can say is enjoy your parents whilst time allows.

I've got to work twice as hard when jousting with rockpickerforever...I only have 4-cylinders...and I think one of them isn't working correctly most of the time! LOL The other day my wife said something about seeing the wind blowing "in the air". I started rolling and tried to ask through my snorted laughter if there was some other place the wind blows. It struck me as really funny...and it was another lesson in perspective...as she didn't see as much humor in it as I did...per the norm! LOL Picking on my mom growing up was a lot like picking on Jean. I'd get a good "jab" in on her and she'd look at me with these stone-cold eyes and say, "You've got to sleep sometime. Good luck!" - You'd think that would make me think twice about doing it again...but alas...nope! LOL I've been dying to get back out hounding this summer...but doing the work on my folks house is taking precedence. I'm hoping to be done with it in a couple weeks (weather permitting)...then I'll get out and "commune with nature"...while filling my pack with a few minerals!

The pleasures of the opposite sex jasoninsd ! It seemed like the years after the sex cooled down loving harassment became a pastime lol. I had the fortunicity of training with a playful Mom too and it bled into my behavior with the opposite sex for years of fun. Gals suck that stuff up as a form of attention apparently. Or end up hurling a cooking pot at you ! Living dangerously, passes the time well. Jean appreciates banter like such and can handout it back out as you well know. Might take 2 or more to get the best of that lady ! She has lambasted me more than once. Good rock collecting spots here are all a 100 to 200 miles away. Plenty of artifacts close by. The big city is always clearing forests exposing them. Anxious to see what you pick up out there. Wondering if you have pet wood there.

Two things about men and their aim - friends of mine that were always having parties had signs in their bathrooms. One said "Stand close, it's shorter than you think" and the other "My aim is to keep this bathroom clean. Your aim would help!" I always got a chuckle out of those. Pat Remembering Paradise. The town was in the news big time in 2008 when the Camp Fire burned the entire town to the ground, killing 84 residents. It was the largest loss of life in a CA wildfire yet. The fire was sparked by PG&E powerlines. Looking back through the previous posts, I realize it was Jason, and not James, that called me a tight ass. But James insinuated I take Geritol. I don't, maybe I should? The T-Mobile problem was ironed out. I have an older plan that is no longer offered. The first guy that helped me was clueless about it. But I also spoke with a gal that had worked for them about nine years, so she knew all about it. She was able to answer my questions. They did not switch my plan, it was more of a misunderstanding on my part. Jason, how's your mashed thumb feeling? Karma! I think I'm satisfied with her doling out the payback! Hope you have some happy hounding coming up soon!

Well, did you see his self deprecating comment? It's always a sure sign men feel comfortable around you if they can speak of their manhood in such unflatering terms, lol. (i.e., speak the truth, perhaps?)
Don't tell anyone, but my DH refers to his as "his shortcomings."
