The first wrap is a tumbled piece of Tiger Eye that thisislandearth sent me to wrap for him. It really was a great tumble to wrap as the edges were kind of slim. The Polka Dot Agate, Petrified Wood, Montana Waterline Agate, and the Royal Imperial Jasper were wrapped for holajonathan . These are his cabs he made. I should have chosen a different backdrop rock for the pics...oh well...next time. LOL As always, thanks for taking a gander. Pic 1 Pic 2 Pic 3 Pic 4 Pic 5

Nice looking wraps Jason. I really like the last one. I was just wondering today about doing twisted square on the side. It looks like I can see that on the polka dot agate piece too. The petrified wood wrap stands out. I think it must be because it's symmetrical. I like them all!

That Tigereye one looks really nice, but the Royal Imperial Jasper is super cool.
It looks like the inclusions are floating in space.

The petrified wood wrap stands out. I think it must be because it's symmetrical. I like them all! Thank you so much! I have a tendency to use two twisted square wire (the inside two) and two round wires (the outside two). On the Petrified Wood piece, I chose to use square without twisting it. I don't do that very often at all... Beautiful, Jason! That Montana wrap is ultra cool. Thanks Robin! Tabs can be a real pain sometimes...for spacing purposes...but I do like the looks of them. I used tabs on most of this batch...(Thanks Captain Obvious! LOL) That Tigereye one looks really nice, but the Royal Imperial Jasper is super cool.

Thanks Patty! Yeah...Jonathan does an amazing job on his cabs...both with his polish as well as his pattern choices within the cabs.

Cool! Love the polka dot agate! Thanks Tela! I'm starting to like that "half-circle" tab. I think it can work on a lot of different cabs.

Prongs, Jason, not tabs. Tabs are solid metal.

I like all of them, but I am amazed at what you did with the petrified wood. A difficult shape worked to perfection!

Hmmm, could you number your photos ? Thanks. Sure. I just did. I figured since there was only five photos it wasn't really necessary. LOL jasoninsd I love them all, beautiful work as usual Jason! so is the tigers eye tumbler and not a cab? Thanks Ashley! Correct. The Tiger Eye is a tumble from thisislandearth. I had him send me a picture of the tumble before he sent me the stone. I could see from the picture I would be able to use my "normal" wrapping technique...so I agreed to wrapping it.

I had to add in about the prongs jasoninsd . They are a nice look & I'll add, harder to do nice & cleanly like you do, then I originally thought.

Thanks Patty! Tela ( rockjunquie) is the definitely the "master" of the prong! I'd like to get even better at them...which means I have to do more of them! LOL - I practiced on a scrap piece of wire until I thought I could get them done pretty well. One of the hardest things (I feel) is putting a slight bend on the end of the prong (without marring the prong) so it curves "into" the cab...otherwise it points away from the cab and has a slight gap, which acts as a thread catcher on clothing.

Thank you, Jason. When you were posting, I was working on an open prong piece. Once I get a few more pieces done, I'll post them.

Clearly your practicing paid off, they all look good.
And clearly I have to practice more Thanks for the tip on giving them a curve in- makes total sense.

That tip came from Tela...and I felt the same way as you when I learned it..."makes total sense"!
