Goes to show things haven't changed a lot in 111 years.

Funny you mention the address. I grew up and later moved back there. A very rural area. We didn't have mail box numbers until the mid 1970's. There were 2 rural routes for mail. The mailmen each spent over 10 hours on their route. Switched to fire numbers for address in the early 1990's.
The population of Weyerhaeuser rarely changed. I remember it was 353 when I was in Grade school through high school. Only remember because that was also the phone exchange. Later it was 272. Now listed as 231. The nearest other town, which has less than 1000 people, is 8 miles away.
