Reaching out. Anyone have a source for this type of pencil? A small pencil with end cap with loop that a cord can be attached to. The Amherst Opera House is planning an early 1900's ball. I would love to design and make some dance booklets for the event. Attaching a pencil like this is a major component of the dance book. I did a search and found nothing. Worst case would be to purchase some golf pencils and end caps. I would rather not do that, due to time and cost. Thank you

Thank you Beth, I just did a google image search for "dance card program pencils with strings" and saw plenty of options that might work for you.

Im a classic pencil nut. These types were very popular WW2 and earlier. I don't know if your searched on Ebay yet, but you may turn up some there. Unfortunately I have only obtained 1 "dance card" type pencil. It came in a lot of pencils I bought years ago and was "borrowed" by my granddaughter never to be seen again.
