Date: March 21. 2023 Weather: Cloudy, 59°F Destination: Griesen, Neidernach / Schellbach ( Garmisch-Partenkirchen) Took my brother along for this one. It's been over 5 years since he visited Germany, so I was very happy to show him a few of the places I discovered.
He loves nature as well, so no persuasion needed.
Just the fact that he does not really have any proper outdoor gear here prevented us from exploring up another small "Laine" or "Graben".
Instead we parked in the litte village of Griesen and walked along river Neidernach which turns into the stream Schellbach further up. It was a beautiful, little trip. Lot's to talk and catch up on, some nice stones found and beautiful nature all around. Felt great to be back outside finally and even better having my brother along for it. Enjoy nature everyone!

I'm so glad you're back at it Gabriel, I missed your trips.
But it's obviously spring and how can you resist
I was going to comment about the elephant stump/log,
but the "fossil" rocks are too cool not to take center stage.
Nice finds.
Thanks as always for taking us along & even finding the spring flowers.
Keep up the good work, Patty

Well... gotta keep going right? And being outside is so good for my mind, I could not just stay home either way.
The stump was just too funny not to take a pic. But yes, the "fossil" rocks where my highlight as well.
Always happy to bring you along.
All the best!
Gabriel

What does the marker indicate? Just some distance Marker I suppose. I'll check around more when I'm back in that region.
