I was arranging my photos and decided to post some pictures from one of my field work trips. This mountain in Serbia has beautiful intact nature, so I could not help myself. Sorry for numerous pictures. Nature 1 — Landscape Nature 2 — Mountain creek Nature 3 — Scorpion History 1 — World War I monuments "krajputasi". History 2 — Medieval castle Rock 1 — Rock head — granite outcrop Rock 2 — citrine So it is obvious — I like taking pictures. Thanks for looking Zotika

Your country is lovely. And I know that the castle represents hundreds of years of history, All that and rocks too. What a wonderful world.

Wonderful countryside, so nice and green. Reminds me of the Pacific northwest without all the darned people and with castles thrown in to boot. I want to move too. Better watch out what you advertise Zotica, might find your countryside overflowing with ugly Americans *S*...mel

in the mid-80's, my husband had a chance to travel to (then) Yugoslavia for business. he stayed in Novi Sad, he loved it! he wanted to go back for a vacation....unfortunately, the schist hit the fan shortly after that and we never had the chance to visit. i am so glad, Zotika, that your country is still beautiful. it is such a shame we can't all learn to live together on this small planet. everyone should love the rock we live on!

Hey Zotika, that is absolutely fantastic! You have a good eye for the photography. I knew that your country was beautiful, but i've never seen photos like that before. Thanks again! Ron ps Does it snow there? 'Cause you know we really love snow here.

Thank you, guys. Because of Sandsman and other castle likers I am sanding the picture with closer look of that castle. Ron, we have little snow right now but it is extremely cold. It gets around - 17 oC which is something around 0 F. Pictures were taken in September. KD. You read Serbian cyrillic, your husband was in Serbia, I think this is also "The dark side of the Moon." You are all welcome to visit Serbia and I would be very happy to take you on rock hunting trips. Zotika
