Kim, that scorpion is very rare in my country. That's why I took the picture, in the first place. Scorpion is not of dangerous kind and measures les than 1/2". Otherwise we have some wolfs deer, bears... I don't think that we have raccoons. Especially we don't have rockyraccoons. You could be the first one. Zotika

Great Pictures Zotika!! We are hoping to get to Eastern Europe this summer or next on an extended camping trip. My husband spent 3 months in Constanta Romania and wants to go back for a vacation on the Black Sea. If we make it to Belgrade, we will have to meet up for some rock hounding!! Wendy

Wendy, It's a deal. Looking forward to it. That would be great. Kim, you are wrong. This is not an elephant. It's one dangerous DRAGON. Zotika

Wow Zotika, your nature shots are beautiful, you do have an eye for photographic composition.
I can deal with snakes and tarantulas, but scorpions! Something about them always gives me the creeps.
Beautiful country, thanks for sharing your photos.

Beautiful pictures Z. Very similar to what we see here in North Carolina. Except we had to have our Castle imported brick by brick.. (see Biltmore Estate). And to be able to walk along in that scenery and find Citrine just growing out of the rock like that! Wow!
