Not going to lie, but i am liking it. Many times art installations are an eyesore, but this show true natural beauty

That's one way to reduce the size of one's rock hoard.

That's actually pretty cool!
*It reminds me of when a worker super glues a quarter to the floor next to the doors of a Walmart...just to stay amused! LOL

Well if you see anyone spitting on them you know that’s a rockhound and not just some nefarious character! We had a rockhound family member who did the same thing along his entire front walkway to his house. I always thought it was cool. And if ever I see the house up for sale I’ll be tempted!

LOL Not going to lie....I so want to do that one day......to a 20 dollar bill on the sidewalk. When I was a kid, my dad and I would go "fishing" in front of the house. We lived on a relatively busy street. He had an old bank deposit bag and tied it to a short "travel" fishing pole. He would hide behind his van, "cast" the bag out into the street, and wait for a passerby to notice. Some people saw it and stopped right away in the middle of the street. Some drove past and looped back around not sure if they were seeing what they thought they were seeing. Some were quick to go for the grab and some were slow and methodical. Several made their kid get out of the car to get it. Regardless of the approach, as soon and their hand got almost to the bag....fish on! He yanked that thing away and we cracked up at the surprised look on their faces. Everyone laughed and thought it was a great prank....except for the person who spilled their drink in the car during the commotion. This was the America's Funniest Home Videos era. Anyway, this thread brought back some fond memories. 🎣💰🤣

It’s like the counter at tastee treat in prineville. The amount of rare and valuable slabs in that counter will blow your mind.
