Hey there, folks! Greetings! I’m sort of new at this. I’ve been wanting to do it since my parents refused to buy me a refill at ten years old for my old red and silver Nat Geo… “too noisy”. BOOOOOO I started out this time with a NEW Nat Geo, but of course, came to the conclusion that so many arrive at: the kit includes mixed hardnesses, and their polish SUCKS. So now I am the proud parent of two Lortone 33Bs, and have a MT4 Mini Sonic on the way! It really is very addicting. I’d love to hear if anyone from this area has any spots to go looking for materials. I’m pretty much smack dab in the middle of the intersection of a lot of limestone, and Canadian Shield. Not great for tumbling! LOL Looking forward to getting to know and learn from you all!

Welcome to the forum from South Dakota! You're going to fit right in...for two reasons! 1) You called yourself a "proud parent" when referring to your tumblers! LOL - and 2) You have a picture of a dog as your profile picture!!
