I'm pretty pleased with how shiny they came out Just kidding, here are the rocks. I'm not sure if some of them have bruising, or if fractures like this are inherent in crushed rock.

That's a nice batch! It looks like everything took a good polish! Sometimes rocks have deep fractures, and you would have to tumble them to the size of fruity pebbles to really get rid of all of them.
I'm of the philosophy that, once the rock is shaped well and you're happy with it in coarse, move it along. Trying to get every. single. rock. perfect is too frustrating to me. Though I will admit that my standards are getting higher as I get more experience...

But then I often just... can't... stop...

But then I’ve also admired how shiny my polishing ceramics are. You did a nice job with what looks like a basic set Of rocks that came with the Tumbler. Yes, sometimes rocks come with cracks (crushed and broken rock often is), sometimes they occur during tumbling. I will tumble really good rocks until perfect, but most I get to a point where I like how they look and that’s good enough. Whatever makes you smile Is the way to go.

I'm also a big fan of the clear quartz and intend to get some more. I posted the ceramics because I've never seen a pic or discussion of them. I never expected them to get so shiny.
