This would have been my first book if I had known how to tell it. I'm still wondering if I did it the right way.
It all started in 1988 when I visited Big Spencer flat. saw stuff I couldn't understand.

Then I learned about Kodachrome Basin
I later figured out they were all the results of shockwaves. Where did all those shockwaves come from?
I learned about the Great Salt lake Astrobleme, and Bingham Canyon all happening at the time of the Sevier Orogeny, and I knew the answer. Not the answer found on Wikipedia! And I knew I had to tell this tale.
