This is one of Dave's — Blue olive Wyoming jade (49x19mm) Agate (kind of lace) with dolomite (30x15) Brecia (40mm) This is one of my fav from this round. Front side Back side This is a mixture of jasper and chalcedony (40x23mm) I have to give to this stone some nice name. Jasper (37x22) Combination of milky opal and rose quartz (35x25mm) Thanks for looking Zotika

That jade cab has a SERIOUS polish on it. I didn't know you could get such a shine. I also like the brown jasp/chalcedony one. It looks like about 20 different kinds of rock in one! Beautiful! And again with that superior shine. Wow. Steve

Dave, I didn't know also that this jade will get that shine. But now I am beginning to be jade admirer. Thanks to you. When I ask my colleague geologist what they think this is – they usually, at first glance, respond - obsidian. On that second pict of jade you, actually, see my table lamp. Zocky

those look great. in the last pic, the part under the pink is stone?? looks like plastic - did a great job on those It' not plastic, it's white opal. But, you are not the first one that thought so (even one my respectable professor thought so). This is very pure kind of amorphous silica – common opal, that's way this gemstone variety is called milky opal. i like the one you are calling a breccia but it looks like an agate to me. you do so always have some fine things to look at zotika. what else have you got going on? kim Kim, you are partially right. The complete name for this kind of rock should be carbonate-silica breccia with agate. Except on this specimen, only the right side (three o'clock) is partly consisted of some silica minerals, this time - quartz. The rest are different carbonate minerals - magnezite, dolomite, calcite and probably ankerite, which are slightly impregnated with silica minerals. Thank you all for kind words, and for being so supportive, as always. Zocky
