Covellite 20mm. Very soft. Picture don't do him justice, at all. This is great stuff, but is hard to work with, very soft. White spots and thar left side crack is actually inclusions of other mineral - pyrite. Chrysocolla, 25x18 mm. Grape green chrysoprase, 25x18mm. I call this one Galaxy. Orbicular jasper, but it is also chalcedony. This one is first cabochon from my latest rock trip. 38mm. Chrysoprase. Looks to me like emerald green. My favorite. 28x20mm. Chrysoprase, 20mm. Chalcedony, 25x18mm. Thanks for looking. Zotika

Wow! really nice cabs Zotika! I guess you can guess which one I like best. I love anything with poppys spheres or orbs *L*. keep up the great pics. It's a treat to see specimens from distant lands.....mel

Beautiful. I think I agree with you, that emerald green Chrysoprase is stunning and very close is the agate in the last pic, neat markings and color in that one.

Zo, do you collect all these from your area? If you do, you are blessed with some really beautiful stuff in your neck of the woods. Great job on the cabs as always!

Cher, that chrysoprase is really nice stone. I am posting this picture cause here color of stone is more accurate. Unfortunately this is not so sharp picture, but now you can better see why I am calling this stone emerald green chrysoprase.

Thanks all. Xena, they are from this part of the world, except chrysocolla which is from Africa. I forgot where from exactly. I got chrysocolla from one neighbor who worked once in Africa. Covelitte and Chrysoprase I didn't collect personally.

Stunning cabs. I've been staring at the chalsedony in the last pic. The depth of the pattern is great.

Very nice, but I am most attracted to the Chrysoprase - I like translucent stones! LOVE the round! S
