Wow, pretty faithful to the proposition. Did you want to do anything different when you actually held the slab, or were your choices still basically the same?
The first two are my favorites. I guess they are the most scenic. The round one with the pinch-bail is really nice.
Were there any problems/conflicts with the saw cuts? Or had you planned for that?
Thanks for the update!

Wow very nice Zotika, did you finish both sides on all of the pieces? I agree those two pieces look great together. The two elipse that you can't decide which one you like better, I like them both but the bottom one I like the best. They are all really nice, great job on them.

Wow ! another nice set of cabs!! ---- one of these days when all the rocks in the world are cut and polished we will have to start grinding rough textures on some of them to have something different ------ there's likely a little "z" on 90% of the polished ones!!

Thank you. Cher I did finish them both sides on al of them. I always do so. The sign of a perfectionist! You certainly did a perfect job on those, that prize really went to someone well deserving of it!

Thank you all. I am glad you like them. Daniel, actually I wasn't thinking about new way of cutting this slab, since I at start decided if I win I'll cut that slab as I proposed in the contest. As for saw cuts I didn't have any problems except with that heart, because I was carried away during trimming a neighbor cab and forgot on my last cab - that heart. That is way this cab is slightly differently shaped and slightly smaller.

fabulous cabs, but then we've all come to expect such impeccable work from you, Zotika! i'm impressed that your end results were so close to your "proposed" plan...
