I understand some people do this. Does anyone here? How do you go about it?

I do try and save most of my polish. The way I do it is: I use a kitchen collander and drain the contents of my tumbler into a large bucket or any container that will hold the amount of water needed to rinse the polish off the stones and out of the tumbler. The way to reclaim the polish is by letting the MESS settle and siphon off the water from the top of the polish. The gooey mess at the bottom of the bucket is your polish. It is messy but worth the trouble if you are low on funds, ( as I am), and want to recycle polish. Word of advice: If using different polishs.... use seperate buckets. Hope this helps. Harry

I cut the tops off of plastic milk jugs. Then I place a colander inside a funnel and dump in rocks. Then fill the barrel a bit with water and rinse off rocks. I leave the jug in the sink and pour off excess water after a couple days when the polish has settled.
