Hi everyone! I have a beautiful stone (agate + quartz), since last summer. It's a one of a kind stone, I've never seen something like this before. If someone had seen and knows it's name, please tell me. I considered it fragile and risky to cut, but today, being my birthday, I hoped that the luck is with me. And it was! ;D ;D Look at the cuts, both pieces remained unbroken . I can't wait to polish them, but I have to because I've ordered some grits and didn't receive them yet. Thanks for looking, Adrian

Nice Stone!!!! What you have there is a geode type rock (crystal lined caviety) nowmost geodes are rounded hollow nodules- and the long tube type formations are often called chathedrals (you have seen the Amythysts one I'm sure) THey are one of Mother Natures Most amazing creations- and come in a huge variety of materials (quartz being the most common- but I have seen them with opal, calcite, spaphalite, hematite, galena, azurite, rhodochrosite, and a few other crystals) very very nice- and HAPPY BIRTHDAY!
