My 5th silver work. Black Australian Opal - doublet with Obsidian. 6th one White Australian Opal - solid one. I tried to catch iridescence on this pic. Since Sante Fe Jewelers Supply didn't ship me ordered bails I had to do bails myself. But that is good because this way I am learning more. On the other hand it takes more time. Thanks for looking. WoW - your work is fantastic - a one-man-cabbing-silversmithing-machine - a jack of all rock trades!
I love the last one - the bail looks fantastic - can't see how Santa fe's could have been better than yours!

They look fantastic mate. Nice cabs and some very sweet silver work going on there.
What's the general process you have to go through to make the silver settings? I only ask out of curiousity because I have no idea where you would even start.

Zoran, that second opal pendant is fantastic! I think silver-smithing hooked you by now Adrian

i agree with Tweet, your bails are way better than anything Sante Fe might have sent you. your work just gets better and better in leaps and virtual bounds!!!

Thanks, people. Mike, I'll try to explain the process but I need to get some more spare time. I'll try to make some sort of report of how I do it. Not tutorial. Today is my wife's birthday so you know what I am occupied with. Yes, she got one of those. Guess which one she picked.

Okay, I almost missed this one and I'm glad I didn't. Excellent job on both the stones and the settings.
