Hey there KD, The green bubble agate slab was one you sent to me in the flat rater. I thought it was a nice looking rock slab ...I think it'll look really nice once it is tumbled and polished. I also cut more this morning...a cuple of oval cabs from the new mexico onyx...and a star fish out of a piece you sent to me. Well, got to go.. I have to read my blue prints on how to make an ARK out of tree limbs ..so we can float the heck out of OKLAHOMA SWAMP LAND !!! HA HA HA Thanks Steve

Nice job on the fish. I really like the green bubble fish. I just got an email from Stoneage Industries this morning that my "Never needs cleaning fishbowl" was this months Shop Friends Conest winner. stoneageindustries.com/never_needs_cleaning_fishbowl.htmlYour table sounds like it's going to be very cool. Be sure to post pics.

Nice cuts, Steve. Love the little fins/spines on the bubble fish. They're gonna look great tumbled.

Just love these fish. I'm a Pisces and I really love these fish. I showed the pix to my husband and reminded him how much I love fish. He said "Thanks a lot, Steve". I think he is going to learn how to cab some fish for me. :-)

Very nice! And you are going to tumble-finish them? I'm assuming a vibe? Will all the little nooks and crannies (ie, around the tails) polish? I'm taking lessons, here, dontcha know.
And Ed, your fishbowl is amazing! How did you hook up a light?

I am actually going to use my covington 36 lb tumbler to tumble the fish. It seems that all my cabs hold great shape and lose very little material in the tumbler. it take roughly 3 months in the covinton, but, I can do approximately 100 cabs and monitor them weekly and pull out the ones that are finished sooner. I do not have a vibe tumbler yet....everytime I get the money saved up..seems something nbeeds fixin here and there it goes. ha ha ha but I have the capability to tumbler 56 lbs of rocks at a time...so i never run out of tumbled rocks. take care and stay dry everyone in the mid west Thanks Steve

I love the fish, too. I can't wait to see your coffee table! A mobile of your fish rocks would be neat!
