OK..I just finished a load of rocks (sorry no pictures) that I used a bunch of pony beads for cushioning. They came out looking just like other loads I did. I could not tell any difference between using the pony beads and the ones I bought that are advertised for that purpose. A big bag of pony beads are cheaper and work as well. For those who may not know what a pony bead is....its a sorta large bead for making bead items...can be found in most hobby stores. I will try to get a good picture of the rocks as soon as I get back from Montana...

pho do they float and stick to things? are they easier to separate from the rocks?
