I have a Lortone arbor with the exact spand drum. www.lonniesinc.com/Products/Tools/Lapidary/lortone_max-pro_8C.htm , much older than the one pictured. It has a drum which divides into halves, then you replace the belt around a rubber ring, put the halves together and back on the arbor. I'm sure many of you know the procedure. I really do not like it as the belts do not run very smooth and it is slow to change. What is the best replacement drum for this type machine? Thanks for helping john

Hi John, the expando drum is pretty good. It takes a different size belt, so you will not be able to use your current belts. You can check them out at www.kingsleynorth.com Hope this helps. Daniel

Hi John, glad I could help. Yes it is so much nicer to just slip on and off without taking the whole drum off. Daniel
