I noticed my house was pretty warm today and the heater was running a lot, it was in the 40s, but.........I turned it down, didn't think about it. As the night went on....I felt hot, went and looked at its showing 78 in the house, I have it set at 65, realized the heater was just running non stop. I shut it off at the thermostat, and it kept running, so finally just shut the breaker off. Is this the thermostat thats bad? ? Please tell me it's something cheap to fix.........please.............

get one of those air dusters- and blast the heck outta the thermostat- sometimes they get dirty and stick!
