Nice, cool spot . . . But as much as I like flowers, I was checkin' all the rocks to see if you'd parked any nice chunks there. Rich

......but it's still a bit cool at night for the Water Lily...... A bit too cool?! Mine had ice on it just last week. ;D Anyway, it looks really great. It gives me some ideas for ours.

Thanks everyone! LOL, the rocks are just sandstone, shale, quartz, and a few limestone fossils. I have to be careful what I give my wife for landscaping. When she gets her hooks in something, it's hers.......forever.

Hey Curt, it's nice to see a green garden and a working water feature. We are in the middle of our worst recorded drought. It's been going on for years now and just about everything is brown. No water features are allowed to be running, even in public parks. Hardly a drop of rain for 2 1/2 months now.
That last photo is a really good shot.

There is nothing like a nice quiet getaway spot with the sound of running water. I have built a couple of water gardens as side jobs for other people and can appreciate the craftsmanship involved and the satisfaction of the end results. It fits in perfect with the surroundings and looks so natural. Very nice job!

i'd love to have one of those but at my house it would surely be a snake pit. or a mosquito birthing center.
