My young man, who refused to get a haircut prior to prom, and his date. He's a sophomore, she's a junior. Yep, he's dating an older woman. Worked well, before he turned 16; she gave him rides to and from school, LOL. Now that he IS 16, they trade off; depends on which car is running. Currently, it is his '88 Buick, which we bought for $400 from my sister. Worked great, until he had a blowout on dirt roads he should not have been traveling. Three weeks later, it does again work great, after the grounding and tire replacement. ![](http://thumb0.webshots.net/t/57/657/2/40/28/2447240280077896140Boyxdz_th.jpg)

She's cute and he needs a haircut... lol. ![;)](//storage.proboards.com/forum/images/smiley/wink.png) It's funny how kids are wearing the same hairstyles now that they used to wear in the late 60's and 70's... Dan

Aww aren,t they cute together!
My 7 y.o. son had longish hair, I made him pigtails - he wears it short now! - he likes the feel of the very short hair in the back! and I like it short too!

Cute pair. That long hair "frames" him very well at his age. Let him have it while it's still there. I'm just behind you, with my 13 old girl. Not yet dates, but I think I won't have to wait long.

Aww they look so nice Karen. *sniff* *sniff* My granddaughter went to her first prom this year. Her boyfriend is a junior so she was able to go even though she's only 15. I'm waiting for pictures. ![::)](//storage.proboards.com/forum/images/smiley/eyesroll.png)
