Went to see this movie with my daughter. Had no clue as to what it was about, but she really wanted to see it. It's a musical with the social issues of the sixties. The entire soundtrack is of the actors singing Beatles songs. (HOW DARE THEY!) But, it's done quite well. Brought back some memories too. Check out Bono and Joe Cocker in cameo appearances.

I'm a big Beatles fan adn I've heard the soundtrack but wasn't too impressed. You gotta do an INCREDIBLE job of a cover to do justice to the originals. For a soundtrack of better Beatles covers check out the I Am Sam soundtrack.

There's only a few Beetles covers that I really ike... 'Come Together' by Aerosmith and Frank Sinatra's "Something" to name a couple...
I just watched Sgt. Peppers Lonely Hearts Club Band again recently... My God... what were we thinking in the 70's? hehehe... Thank God Billy Preston was in it or it would have been a total waste of time.. hehe... ;D

Funny how the 60's and 70's are coming around again. History repeats itself?
