Hey everyone, Well, I was fortunate enough to get one of these, on eBay at a very descent price ... 96.00 ... I didn't think that was bad at all So, I am going to have to go back to the slow process ... and I may end up scratching your ear (ask a question) It has been years since I had a rotary type tumbler and I will be starting all over again ;D I wanted a tumbler that will help me get the nice rounded pieces that my vibe can not attain, and I believe this will definitely do the trick Have a great day! John

WOW that is a great purchase, I don't think I'd have enough stone to fill up a 15 lb bbl. Maybe I could stuff my son in there to keep him quiet...

I have several 6 lb barrels and a 15 lb barrel and I like the 15 best I think it has more "action" when it rolls the rock tumbles better inside it. good price now get to work

Hey Bear, I just loaded mine up today with Flint Ridge flint, some agates Puppies and Sands sent me, and that big old piece of mook I won on ebay. Hopefully you will have better luck with your first batch than I had with mine and we can learn together. ;D ;D ;D Is 1 lb. of 60/90 enough to start?

Cookie - I have no idea ... It sounds good to start with though Conrock - I have a bunch of smaller pieces that will work perfectly in this tumbler. So I won't have to bust too many up for a while ;D KD - This is part of the last two collections that I have purchased in the past couple of years. They are paid for ... thankfully I got a nice selection of petrified wood from Banjo and I will most probably mix them up with some of the laguna agates that I have and make a real mongrel mix ;D Enjoy, John
