in rock tumbling and why? Someone suggested Secrets of the Pros Revealed "How to tumble polish rocks into gems."

the most usefull book is right here there is no place with as much knowlege and insite in tumbling read the back posts keep looking keep reading and look at some of the photos for even more inspiration. Welcome to the board.

I concur... I bought 3 or 4 tumbling books many years back and read them cover to cover. I still learned more on this site. Save your money for rocks and just peruse the boards.

If you are looking for books to identify rocks then I suggest Smithsonian Handbook of Rocks and Gems, as well as Encyclopedia of Rocks, Minerals, and Gemstones. Tami
