These are the two goldstones that I sent a picture of last month. This first one is the front and back of the one I made my mother for Christmas, I haven't made the chain for it yet. Back Front This next one is for one of my friends that helps me out twice a year at the ren faire I sell my jewelry and stones at. Back Front Tami

Wow, both of those are GORGEOUS! That necklace looks like a TON of work! I bet it would feel great on, though.

Both are beautiful, but the second one is my favorite. Don't tell me you made all that wire work in the necklace by hand!

Tami that is outstanding - mmmmm goldstone - my favorite human rock!
What wire did you use? is that copper or gold? - I really like the chain - that is a hell of a lot of work - but well worth it too!

I always love looking at your pieces, Tami - you combine the chainmaile and wrapping so nicely!
(Jonje, you should loook up the piece she did that almost won the state fair - a bear hanging)

Yes I did the chain as well. I buy spools of wire coil it, cut it and then make the chainmail. The wire is copper. I gave my friend the necklace this weekend and she loved it. Tami

Tami,
I make all of my own rings for chain mail as well. I just cant see spending so much more on pre-made ones. Besides I like being able to say that I made everything on a piece, besides the wire of course.
Beautiful job on the wraps and the chain.
