Another naturally smoothed stone wrapped in copper. The backdrop for this one I used a hunk of ancient lakebed with the impression of a medium sized ammonite fossil in it. (story below). backside the backdrop In the summer of 2006 lake Texoma, in Southern Oklahoma was more than 4 feet below the normal water level and the entire shoreline was exposed out quite a ways. There were fossils laying all over the place, you could actually find more fossils than driftwood. Any way I picked up a few of the more interesting things there and brought them back to Wisconsin with me to hand out to the grandkids who will probably never get down there. Another picture of some of the fossils with the backdrop in the middle. thanks for looking. granpaw

Isn't copper a dream to work with, I love working with it. Those fossils are great. Tami
