Mel, I'm sure glad you saw it too...or at least read my comment. Tao hasn't said a word about it...I guess he doesn't quite know?!? I could swear it's a dryhead. Steve Thank you all for pointing out the Dryhead that I thought was Mexican Lace. Not that I did not believe it, just was not familiar. Checked with a friend of mine and sure enough, he confirmed the Dryhead. He told me that this particular Dryhead is from Montana as compared to the Teepee canyon agate from South Dakota, and that both are similar. Now I must change my listing descriptions! Thanks again !

I have wrapped stones such as this with the vug in it...infact, there is a thread here of a necklace with just such a stone (only it WAS a Crazy Lace ). The reason I'd not put wire through it, is becuase the wire will knock off crystals and like others have stated...it is just so dang purty. ;D Anywho, it will be different and fun to see what Dee comes up with.

YES, YES, YES, YES !! ;D
Most excellent Dee !
Your wrap is right on track with my thoughts on utilizing the vug. I am anxious to show this on my site. Now people can see first hand how they too can use the vug in conjunction with the wrap as a whole.
Very pleased Dee, and thank you so much for taking the time. I meant what I said about returning the favor.
Don't be shy..... If there is a little something that catches your eye just let me know....
Will PM ya.

I would say definitly with it come to cabbing stones with natural voids in them. Espeically after seeing the others that you did. Tami

Wow, that really is neat! Great job, Dee! Are the wires touching the crystals at all? Or were you able to secure the cab with the curls?
Great collaboration. Thanks for posting your initial request, TaoGem, so we could all see something new!

I'm glad you guys like it! So many of the 'old timers' don't care for *anything* obscuring their beautiful stone! lol.
Amy, the wires are not touching the crystals, and because there's no tension on them, it shouldn't be a problem! It was fun to play with. I would never have thought to do it, if Tao hadn't brought up his idea!
