I ran across this kid's wire wraps last night and thought they were really cool. I haven't seen anything like them before. I liked the texture. They remind me of HR Giger's Alien studded with gemstones. What do you wire wrappers think? Check out the items sold for his most interesting pieces. Love sold item # 2. ;D S www.nattywraps.com

isaac join us! looks like you would be a great asset to our group. how long have you been doing this? this kind of talent starts in the womb doesn't it? kim I just might. I frequent so many forums, it can be hard to give each the requisite ammount of love In answer to your question, I've been doing this since last thanksgiving (that's when I finished my first real piece). I have a strong art background and this avenue of creativity seemed to really grab me. I've got some things to teach but so much more to learn as I like to say. I am pretty much self taught in what I do. I had someone tell me some good gages of wire to use and I went from there, just looking at things I liked and trying to make what I see in my head transfer into wire. I'd be glad to answer other questions if anyone has them. People often have plenty of them for me.

I would love to learn that...you must have a mind full of images.
Do you get your inspiration from nature or do you dream in geometrics?
They are so beautiful. I can't afford your work, but it is so lovely, anyone would be graced by them.
I just love the "ladders" how long does it take you to do a piece? approx

I just love the "ladders" how long does it take you to do a piece? approx The pieces take anywhere from 3-12+ hours to make. Usually around the 6-8 mark. Those ladders are especially time consuming. Thanks all for the compliments everyone

I'm speechless - that is truly wonderful! I have to ask, how much wire do you use on average per wrap?

I'm speechless - that is truly wonderful! I have to ask, how much wire do you use on average per wrap? Usually for my full sized pieces about .75 to 1.5 oz of sterling goes into them. Thanks again for all the compliments I've heard people mention other wire jewelers on this forum, is there anywhere where I can see pictures? Cheers, Isaac www.nattywraps.com
