My niece's necklace inspired me to pick up my wire a little more regularly again. Here's two more: Bruneau Banded Agate - it's a waterline agate (the bands on the outside encircled the waterline part), and I called it Brazilian in my cab thread...but I'm not so sure it's a Brazilian.

Wow, very nice and colorful wraps! My favourite is the first one, but the second one follows closely.

Beautiful, akansan! I love the first one you did, the wire and stone compliment each other perfectly! I'm glad you'll be working wire more regularly! The rocks deserve it. lol!

Beautiful wire work complementing beautiful stones. The top is my favorite, I've yet to figure out how to scroll that ending wire lke that but someday...

Those are beautiful. Do you use dead soft or half hard wire? Tami

Thanks guys.
Tami - I prefer dead soft, but these are 22g half hard. I goofed up on my last wire order, wasn't paying attention, and realized my mistake when it arrived labeled half hard. I've suffered through it so far, but can't wait to finish it off so I can switch back to dead soft. Of course, by that time I just might be hooked on half hard like some people! (I doubt it, though...)

Well, whatever that second stone is - it's gorgeous! Your wraps are superb. Looking at all of the beautiful wrap jobs on this board are what inspired me to try. I can only hope to get to that level of quality. I have yet to try with dead soft wire, though.

Those are really nice. I showed the pics to my wife and she loved them, especially the second one.

Purdy purdy.
I'm partial to the Bruneau.
