I have failed to make a couple of commitments to members of this forum over the past 6 weeks or so. Reason not exuse is as follows.
I had a heart attack on December 23, 2007 and ended up having 5-way bypass along with defibulator/pacemaker installed. Spent the time between then and now in either the hospital or rest (?) home. I got out yesterday and am now resdtricted to lifting no more than 5 pounds with either hand and can not raise my arm above shoulder height for at least another 4 weeks.
My apologies to members that I had commitments with and will try to take care of these commitments as soon a physically able to.

Bill I am so sorry to hear you had a heart attack and sincerely hope the work they did will have you feeling much better very soon. Do take care and listen to what they say about not lifting. It will come, just give it time.

You just take care of yourself and don't worry about anyone or anything here on this board!
You are a good person and even though it was very thoughtful of you to apologize I for one don't think it was necessary!
God Bless You!

Nothing to forgive. Don't blame you at all. Some thing for all of us think about if somehting like this happens to you. Ebay purchases, I had one purchase that was closing and due to be paid. No one else in the house had my pasword to get in and take care of it. Finally got to talk to my stepson who also buys on Ebay and was able to get him access to my Ebay account and Paypal account to take care of it for me, but I was concerned that seller would cancell the sale and post a negative feedback. Fortunatlly got it taken care of in time. I it was nice to come home to some new rocks to look at even if I can't do anything about them now.

You just get better! I know what you are going through partly. Had a 5-way by-pass in June but thank God, no heart attack. You'll look at life different now and those commitments will become more important now when you are better. So will getting out there and finding those rocks cause you won't take it for granted anymore. Take care of yourself and don't be hard on yourself either. God Bless,
Ed M.

Wrong. He needed to post about his situation otherwise the people he had commitments with would still think they got ripped off! Just like his ebay item he wanted. If you make a deal with someone here, and don't fulfill your end of it you need to worry about someone or something here on this board. I give yogibear credit for at least posting about what happened to him when he could instead of a few others saying they were almost dead and not explaining themselves to the other end of their deal. Again, the importance of getting a phone number with someone you trade with. Floydrocks could have called, asking about Yogi and someone in the house could have explained his situation.

yogi just get better fast. Ralph went threw that in Aug. so we know how you feel. But, just do as the drs say, no lifting, arms above the head, all of it. You will be surprised how fast you will feel better. Did you get a heart pillow to hold when you cough or get out of bed???
take care now ralph and mary ann

edog, Nothing wrong with him letting everyone know about his situation but I don't think anyone has to apologize for having health problems. I really hope and pray that if I'm in the hospital (or at home) with a health problem and I owe someone here or anywhere a box of rocks or whatever, they would be a little considerate and just try to wait it out and not come gunning for me. I've never ripped anyone off on any promise or deal I have EVER made and will not in the future. I think the same is true for Bill as well! I do agree with you about commitments and it saddens me to hear when one of us gets ripped off but before any of us go head hunting I think we should know E X A C T L Y what the other person's situation is. It's a lot to ponder but once things are said it's usually never forgotten!

Thats the problem. Floydrocks didn't know anything of what was going on. A couple months go by and no word from yogi. I understand he was incapacitated and couldn't get the word out. In Snowdogs case, cleo comes back in here after 4 months of not squaring up with Dave, says she has been through alot but doesn't post openly that she was in the hospital. Only PM's me and says that then after I get on her disapears without sending Dave his money or even a PM. In my book she is dirt. That saddens me because she is in Wisconsin like I am. Same with stonesnbones, what a dirtbag. He was even told by the people across the street from him to call Dave, never has. To me, like I have said before, thats the importance of getting a phone number. I know full well floydrocks feels like chit now, she told me so in a PM. I believe her post is maybe what sparked yogi to post his apology.

connrock...may I please add something quietly without causing a ruckus...
politeness dictated an apology. They don't cost a person or soul a thing and it's the right & proper thing to do.
Yogi...you get better & kick ass!!!
