Heya all... I just finished this wrap. The cab used for the background was made by our beloved Stoner. ;D This pendant was a special request. A friend of mine wanted me to make a pendant for his mom, but it had to represent the Pittsburgh Steelers (his mom's favorite NFL team.) Some time back, I asked if anyone could make a doublet and Stoner stepped right up. After a couple of changes and a few setbacks (I removed the polish on the face of the Howlite by accident), I finally got this thing done...whew! ;D Here's the Steelers logo... and here's my version (with a bit of my own style) ;D Front and this jumbled mess is the back... Sorry, but the pics were taken with my same old crappy camera. Its evil and hates me, I swear. ;D I had to get pretty creative on this one. No easy task for me, I tell ya. ;D The whole thing is made with black jade & howlite for the cab and the 3 gemstones are cubic zirconias in sterling snap settings. I wrapped it in 21g square sterling. Through it all, I learned that E 330 epoxy is pretty awesome stuff. ;D Thanks for looking. Rus

Very good resembling with the logo. Doesn't matter the back, the front is really nice.

Wow, that's a SUPER creative cab! I really like it, despite not being a football fan.

That came out nice Rus. So I guess you were able to polish the howlite okay? I had no idea what the finished piece would look like. Cool!

Thanks Stoner & Mitzi. I did manage to get most of the shine back thanks to your advice Ed...you are a scholar and gentleman indeed. lol
I must confess, though, that I never was very happy with the way the wrap turned out...but after 3 tries I decided it would have to do...lol Now its just a matter of "wait and see." I put it in the mail yesterday so my friend should get by this weekend. I'm keeping my fingers crossed...lol
