I threw out my back and had to spend some days sitting in a straight back chair. I did some wire wrapping to keep myself busy. Hope you enjoy them. Steve Brecciated jasper of unknown origin. I've been working on a football sized rock of this for a while now. It's the rock that keep on giving. Now a wrap. Picture Jasper. I've had this cab for a long time and couldn't figure out what I wanted to do with it. As soon as I stopped ovethinking it, it all came to me. It all just sorta came together. I love that picture jasper! So glad you decided to stop thinking about it. The last chysocolla is also high up on my boy-would-I-love-to-wear-that-one list.

Sorry to hear about your back.. I hope your feeling better, but what a wonderful time to wrap. You did a great job on all of them. I can not pick a favorite. All are so clean and flow together. Your bindings are perfect. I'll hold my card up now....10 Tonja

Wow! Nice group of wraps! I really like the way the picture jasper is set too and the chrysocolla cabs are awesome. That first jasper would be a dead ringer for Rainbow Ridge Jasper/Agate if it had some wavy line pattern in it too. The color and markings fit the material very well. Lots of big hunks still around too....Mel

Wow! Nice, smooth lines. The "frame" on the picture jasper is great. I love the clear/milky-looking places in the first cab, and the swoops of the wrap. Beautiful.

Thanks all. That picture jasper seems to be the winner. Mel, it had some wavy looking parts, mostly yellow with tiny black lines of wide agate (quartz?), but they were very unorganized. The rock came from a box of other stuff at a rock show. Here's two other wraps that I have in another post on the board. These were made at the same time as the other ones. You may have seen them in the ID section. Steve Moss#1 Moss#2

I love those barrel shapes you're doing. They lend themselves nicely to your style of wrap!

My wife, who'll look at the board if I'm looking at wire wraps, and I agree...these are some of the nicest wraps we have seen. I have no diea about wrapping but I know what I like, and I like these. All of these!.
The cabs are sensational too.
You're an artist, mate.

Bonus! love the shapes and as always your work is super sharp. That 1st rock reminds me of stone canyon jasper - I have some that looks just like that. The 2nd batch looks great too - reminds me of wwr agates

Yup, I have to join in with the gang - the picture jasper really rules!!! Your bindings and bends are extremely tidy. I'm envious - I always seem to have gaps!! I hope you feel better soon!
