This is a cab from the Tiffany Stone rough that I posted the other day in the slabs and saws section. I wrapped it for a friend who loves gold and purple and it was for her surprise birthday party last night. The Tiffany Stone kicked my butt. It undercut horribly and took no shine whatsoever. This cab was a second attempt and turned out much better than the first. The wrapping isnt in a style that I would like.....and I have found that I have a really hard time creating things when I dont like it but I knew it was a style that my friend would like and that was the important part. I was really pressed for time, and finished it just 2 minutes before my husband needed to leave for the birthday party with it and it was then that I noticed that the left and right binding wires were uneven Ack! Too late to do anything about it LOL. Thanks for lookin,

So, if I look at your post and at your signature, you did a CRAFTSMAN work on this one, didn't you? But it still came out a work of ART. Beautiful wrap!

Thank you Adrian! Actually, I need to add something to my signature that says something about Laborers, Craftsmen, Artists AND Procrastinators. I always wait until the last minute and then I wonder why Im running around out of time like a chicken with my head cut off. LOL

I know I am really new to this forum, but I thought I would offer my 2 cents.
Your wrap is beautiful, and if you look at the stone and the patterns in the stone, it looks as if the two side wraps that you state are offset, are really in line with the stones patterns.
I really like it.

That stone turned out great - the purple just shines with that gold.

Thanks everyone! My friend LeeAnn called me today to tell me how much she loved the wrap. I wasnt able to attend the party as we had company coming over ourselves. But my husband went and took the wrap. I had included a fact sheet printed off the internet telling about the stone and he said that she was going to read it later as she was a bit too buzzed from tequila shots to make sense of it LOL. Her husband also told mine that she really liked it.

I never would have notived the uneven-ness of it. I was transfixed by the really cool swoops on the top. They look awesome on that stone. I'm glad your friend liked the wrap, it's easy to see why she did too. Steve

It is beautiful. It is hard to do a wrap under pressure. Tami

I think it looks "graceful" and very classy! The swoops at the top flowed, like a ballet dancer. If that makes any sense.... Great job!
