Ron (MichiganRocks) I hope you're happy for a very long time with this white junk all over! Once again, for a change, it's snowing outside! Like that hasn't happened pretty much every day since November. I have a 6 foot fence in my back yard and I can only see about a foot of the top of it - we have nowhere to put all this crap anymore! I've caught 2 colds in the past month and I feel lousy! The weather is really bringing me down! It's just so horrible - I haven,t seen the sun since December since pretty much every day's been overcast & snowy. PLEASE STOP SNOWING! I wanna smell the poopy smell of spring! We're getting another 80 cm of snow (something like 2 1/2 feet of snow) and they're saying that we'll have snow on the ground until May (I wanna use my pool! - I think I have a pool! - I can't see it anymore ) Ron make it stop!

This is the evidence of the "global warming". In reality, there are quite a few theories that we are headed into a micro ice age from the pollutants. It has happened in the past. Look at it this way, since Canada has only one road, the snow has to travel that way on its way to Ellesmere Island. Here, it can go up, down, around. There, it can only go this way, or that way. Lets hope, it will warm up this year, and not be the beginning of the glacial masses that started from there. Imagine, never seeing grass again and only seeing two mile high ice sheets bulldozing everything in their path, grinding homes into sawdust, the road into crumbs, leveling ponds, moving mountains. Look at it this way, you might be at the beginning of a major event.

Wow Cher, lots of snow on the ground, beautiful. I live in the West Georgia area west of Atlanta. It is snowing this morning pretty heavy. Probally will not stick the ground is too warm. We had lots of rain last night and at 8 am we had a tornado warning. Just crazy weather this year. Was going on a field trip this morning but cancel cause of the colder weather. Did not expect the snow shower this morning.

LOL, Cher! We managed to get a couple inches more here in KC as well on Friday. They called for flurries, we came away with 3 inches. Let's just say the flurries lasted longer than ANYONE was expecting!

It's going to snow this week, at least between northern Minnesota and down about to Waterloo, Iowa. I'm heading down there to visit my daughter so you know darn well it will snow, even if the all knowing meteorologists say it won't.

Wiz, I'm clueless to US geography but isn't New Jersey near the canadian border? There is no way you're gonna open the pool before it snows again!
I'll post pictures tomorrow, I'm just too darn depressed to even look at all that white crap!

Nah Tweet Wiz is like 8 or 9 hours from Canada- plus being so close to the Ocean it tends to be a bit warmer- But I'm guessing he has snow on the ground right now! We ended up with about 18 inches- but the really crappy part is in a all that snow we had about and inch of freezing rain and sleet- made for a very interesting clean up this morning! And as for the poopy smell of spring- well for some reason the local dairy decided that it would be a good time to start emptying the Manure ponds- so I have all this snow AND a wonderful fragrant breeze.

we did have a lot of rain here yesterday but no snow. we had 3 inches 2 weeks ago and that is it for snow this year. last year i opened the pool for my sons Communion on April 22 so this year i want to do it a week sooner. we have a heater if it is not warm all the time so that helps.

I need to get me a heater too - could use the pool all year round (but will probably end up too poor to live in the house with the bills those things run up)
I'll be lucky if I can open the pool by July! - I have no back yard this year - it,s a field of snow
we got 2 feet & change of snow thsi past saturday - I can't open my side door cuz there's snow up past the doorknob - ever see those pics of people sticking beer bottles in the snow that piles against the door - well that's what we have here - worse winter since 1971! I'd rather not ever be close to the record (I'd rather hear - " this is the first time we had a very balmy winter with no snow!" Yeah that's what I wanna hear!
