Here are some pictures I took at the Deming, New Mexico rock show. Thunder eggs from Deming. Various spheres. I was told these are done by hand even though they are called tumbled rocks. In Tucson they had them too, and the gentleman there told me the same thing. They're done by people overseas who get paid something like two dollars per day to do this. Each one is about fist sized big. Various slabs. Rutilated quartz. Lace agate. Rainbow obsidian. Notice how the outline was followed to form the butterfly. Brazilian sphere. Brazilian agate slab. Smoky quartz. Rio Negro (Black River) agates and Condor agates from Argentina. Right now in my vibe I have some RNs that should be ready by next week. Condor

Cool stuff. I'm going to be back in NM next weekend... just missing the show... Hmmm... wonder if I can get my parents to drive me to some of the rock shops in Deming since the one in Las Cruces is closed....
