Hi everyone, I'm a great lurker here, but slowly it's time to come to play as well I have my first load in the tumbler, almost finishing the first stage (after 4 weeks), hope in a few weeks to be able to show my very first newbie results ;D In the meantime here is a wrapped rose quartz, hope you like it. Very nice! I love the bail and the wrap on the left side.
Any chance of seeing the back? Yeah, yeah, quiet down you guys! (I can hear the collective groan from all the members here who knew I was gonna ask for that!) Sorry!

Yes sure ;D Sorry for the pic quality, I haven't worked this one over in photoshop. It's simple really, the normal border wrapping on the back, and the bail that goes from top to bottom and the lose ends from one side hide behind the bail. It actually looks a bit messier on the pic than in real (but the pics always show all imperfections anyway ;D )

Welcome to the board! I like the way you do the "criss cross" on the bails, i've seen your work before because of the lurking I do "over there". lol

Roger, yes, I made this. Except I didn't tumble the quartz, bought it in Vienna when I was there on holidays. I have a few of rose quartzes in my first tumbling batch, hope they will come out good... Lol, thanks for liking the bails, love doing this basket weaving

That is a gorgeously dramatic wrap! How long did this take to wrap? Hand crafting anything is such a labor of love!
