I have wrapped a few stones now, but I am NOT happy with my "Bail." I never know what to do with the wire at the END of the wrap. Do you tuck it in somewhere? How do you secure your wire after wrapping? Could someone post some close up's of the bail you have done? Mine look really tacky and I want them to look smooth!

Thom: did you miss Adrian's post "GROOVE TUTORIAIL-PACIFIC DROP"? It' just 6 down from yours,is excellent and thorough.I also have one on General about a way to groove.I'm new to this too but it may be that one secret is to use dead soft wire which has the least "spring"and so would conform best[??]. I have also used HOT STUFF on twisted wire which was quite springy, probably due to the work hardening from twisting it.Mike.

I can't really help you there, but if you look at some of the wrapping posts (the ones where I begged to see the back and they posted the back) you'll see how they finish up the bail (maybe one day someone will understand my obsession with seeing the backs of these wraps) *hangs head & walks away pouting*
Good luck it's not that hard, it just takes practice & good pliers & strong fingers
