Very Nice Helen. Do you coil the smaller wire around the larger one? Man, that must take forever!

Love those, I've tried to do that on a very small teardroppy shape and blah - didn't look nice -
Yours are fantastic and a little different than mine - much better Is that from Eni Oken?
PS: where did you get the gold quartz rutile? I can't find any....
PSS: I'm from the Ottawa region but to the Quebec side (don't let that turn you off!)

Great one! I tried this one too based on the tutorial by Delia I think, but mine didn't come half as nice. Will have to give it another go, as you wetted my appetite again for it

Wow! Beautiful pieces. Complex, but not overdone, and the settings don't steal focus from the stones ... and I love your choice of stones!

Those are beautiful, I love the Rutile. A quick question, how much wire does it take to make the weave? It seems like a lot.

sitnwrap: I lost count of how much wire it takes to weave. I guesstimate about 15 feet of 28 gauge dead soft for the quartz, it was a big piece and minimum ten feet for the blue jasper which is less than half the size. You work in three foot lengths and just keep adding wire as needed.
