he refused to even talk to the navy guy....hoping to go to an army program next year......well i aint sure what changed....he got a few calls over the last week....i got an email from the jrotc teacher telling me how much they would like to have him....who they is i dont know.
he came home today...and told us that his schedule has been changed....and he starts in the navy jrotc tommorow.....they either did 1 heck of a recruiting job on him...or something...i aint sure.
we will see how it plays out....kev.

I retired from the Navy six years ago. ROTC is a great way to start his career, he'll move up in the ranks as long as he sticks with it. He needs to give alot of thought into what field he would like to go into. Also, check into what rates are advancing. Some rates are over-manned and have a slow advancement rate. Also, some rates won't help one bit when looking for a job in the civilian world. (example- torpedoman) lol
