Hello All, Hope you don't mind my pictures as I don't normally take any pics of just my cabs when I finish them so these are all ready set in their new silver homes. I do all of my own cutting, cabbing and setting ( except for the little accent stones) I do some of them but normally use ones I buy (Just too small to do sometimes). I will try to remember to take some pictures of just the cabs. Hope you like and thanks for looking This is Carnelian (Thanks for the ID Woodysrock) and a Amber accent This one is Florida Chert that me and the little lady mine at an abandoned lime rock mine near our house with an apple coral accent Copper Mineral mix with a Turquoise accent Not real sure what this one is. It has Pyrite in it. My dad picked it up on one of his trips out west and my wife swiped it from his garden a few weeks ago. This one is a Breciated Jasper with a center line honey tigers eye accent Again hope you don't mind them being set already and thanks for looking

Hi Steelandstone. That sure is fine silversmithing. All of them have such wonderful character and the stones are beautiful.
We all love pics so thank you for posting, looking forward to more and a big welcome to RTH.

Well, you've opened up a can of worms now! YOu are going to have to give detailed tutorials on how you do the silver. Sorry, it's the rules These are all great!! Glad to have you join us. I think I like the Jasper best, but they all are really nice. Tony

Thank you all for the compliments. Me and my girlfriend just started doing this a year ago and we are getting ready to do our first show season. So the feedback is always welcome. Well, you've opened up a can of worms now! YOu are going to have to give detailed tutorials on how you do the silver. Sorry, it's the rules These are all great!! Glad to have you join us. I think I like the Jasper best, but they all are really nice. Tony As for the can of worms no sweat. But I warn you I am no expert by any means. As soon as I get some free time I will try to put together a little demo or something. Thanks again, Phil

Phil: If this is the result of only a years work, you are certainly on the right track, your designs are very well done. You should do well on a show circuit. BTW the first agate is carnelian. Woody

Newbie??? Maybe on this board, but definitely not in cabbing or silversmithing! You are really tallented if you can do such work after one year of practice. Your pendants look so beautiful and original!

Stonesthatrock, I see a few folks on here in know. Even the man John from JSGems where I bought my GP-6 from is on here. Our first show is Oct. 18-19th in Lady Lake, Florida which is near the Orlando Area (just a little north) and then we have 8 more shows before Christmas. Hopefully I will have too slave away in the workshop until all hours of the night to keep up .

Gorgeous pieces! Thanks so much for sharing them! I'd love to see a tutorial, as well. Silversmithing really calls to me, but I have yet to try anything but wire wrapping.
