Jadecarver finally got his shipment of 80 grit 8" wheels in and mine arrived today! (I ordered two, one as a reserve). Now I can get back to some serious grinding on my large cabs. The last one lasted for about three years of hard work. Not bad for an $82.00 wheel! Bob

I have been keeping my eye on those too. I just got a 220 8" from jadecarver. I picked up an 8" 80 grit galaxy on ebay last year for a very good price but still 50% more than jadecarver's. The jadecarver wheels last longer and cut better than DP.

Yippee indeed! The last time I inquired, he was still out.

I kept bugging him about when he would be getting some in. My wheel had almost stopped any notable cutting. He's probably really tired of me by now. Bob

How's the sound? The DP wheels have a ringing sound to them because of the nylon center. Are these quieter?

I believe them to be noisier because they don't have the nylon to dampen the noise. Because my hearing has been failing over the last few years, I always use hearing protection when I'm grinding. Bob

My first 220 use to sing. The 80 didn't.

Sounds like a great deal.

Both my 80 and 220 sing when I use them. Can't argue with the price though.

Is JadeCarver a member of RTH. It sounds like a few have bought from him.
The reason I inquire is I have been watching his store on Ebay. I am interested in the 6" Lap Disks. I have an idea for a Gang Disk setup / Polishing Station and I was going to buy the 6" sintered Disks in various grit. Anyone use these yet.

Thanks everyone. I wear hearing protection too. I'll get one when I wear out my galaxy.
