I recently had problems with my pc and lost a program that was similar to photoshop. It allowed me to crop, resize and do other cool things to pictures. Does anyone know of what I am talking about. It was a free program that I downloaded and it worked great. What was it, or is there anything out there that will do a similar job.
Thanks,
Condor

I know photobucket has lots of new editing things. The only problem is that you have to download pics to there site...but I was amazed at some of the fun and cool stuff you can do to pictures. I had fun with it for a few days....making all sorts of crazy faces. Steve

Perhaps you're thinking of GIMP or Irfanview? I use GIMP on my work computer - takes some getting used to, but it does just about everything Photoshop does.

I use Irfanview and it works great for me. Both for editing and slideshows.

Thanks folks,
I'm going to try 'em all. Somebody at work told me that he uses Picassa. That's the one I used to use.
Thanks again,

Whoops! Forgot about that one. For those of you who like to support the open source community, I really do recommend GIMP. They're coming out with the next stable release in a couple months (2.8, I think) and it's probably the most flexible program I've found that's free.
