I think it is lovely, the stone colour is very eye catching and the shape suits the scenery. I have cut this particular stone and for sure you will never get the high gloss of agate. Nevertheless, excellent job!

Yeah, tough to polish but I really like that picture jasper variety for it's neat patterns. That's a good one!.....Mel

krazydiamond, I verify its identity by: 1. Taking it to a rock show and asking various dealers what it might be. Usually one or more of them know what it is. 2. Entering the name into google and comparing it with what comes up for various sites. 3. Check for a sandy like, porus appearance. I had a fairly good idea what it was from my previous experience with Jaspers. Bob
