Here's an idea that's simple, I did this using 20 gauge twisted and 20 gauge half-round sterling silver, then glued with Hughes 330 epoxy....

That is a cool bail! (Is that the right term?) I really love that black agate. It looks to have a little purple in it and as far as I'm concerned, you can't go wrong with purple. Fran

I'm not sure where the purple came from, must be grape soda on the camera lense. lol

Step 1- bend wire Step 2- glue ;D All you need is a pair of round-nose pliers and flat-nose pliers. Go the the wire wrap forum, the tutorial at the top explains how to do the bends and the binding wrap. There's no limit on how you can bend wire.

Hey Randy, That's fun! I like the pattern and design, really neat finish too. Looks like a trick for the bag! I shall bear that one in mind in the future. Cheers, Sparkles.

Cool Randy. Do you twist the wire yourself or buy it already twisted?

Thanks y'all! Tony, I purchased the already-twisted wire and this was some scrap that I had left over. My opinion, this looks better on this application because of the "rope" appearance. The twisted square wire to me is too elegant. EDIT- at closer look I can see where twisting two round wires together would give a simular look.

that is really cool. You have a great creative imagination. Randy are both the twisted and the half round silver? it is giving the effect that there is a different colored metal for one of the wires. This is so cool so thanks for sharing. You know I'm going to use your idea so keep in mind that saying about the greatest form of flattery. lol.
