A friend named Dave from Arizona lapidary showed me this stuff, and I though I actually had some out back. Well I went hunting, and sure enough, founda bunch and slabbed a chunk up. I thought I'd share this with you as it is new to me and I think it perhaps could have other names but I think that 'Bloody Basin Plume Agate' sounds pretty cool? Thanks for looking. One cab made ready to wrap up- Here it is in Slab form- Thanks for looking! -Banjo

Gorgeous specimens! That's one of my favorite plumes. There was guy selling it real cheap at Quartzite a few years ago but my stupid truck was parked so far away and it was so darn crowded, that I only managed to pack a few pieces back to the car. Then, when I finally cut some, I was kicking myself for not buying all he had. He wasn't even selling it by the pound, but rather, by the piece and some big hunks were only $2. man! *L*....Mel

That looks similar to some Wingate Pass Agate I've seen. Nice material, but what you've done with it is superb!

I love the individual depth that each plume gets in that material. Great cabs!

Interesting cabs/material. What part of Arizona did you pick up the stones?
